Welcome to
Plumgarths Farm Shop
We’re an independent and family-run farm shop just off the A591 to the north of Kendal. Our focus is our traditional butchery counter showcasing locally sourced produce.
Local & Speciality Foods
The farm shop is packed with great food. The butcher’s counter is filled with local and regional meat, including lamb sourced weekly from the auction and reared by local farming families. There are seasonal treats to look out for, including salt marsh lamb from owner Victoria’s parents’ farm. The Plumgarths Farm Shop name has long been associated with its excellent meat packs, which are ideal for helping you to plan ahead and fill your fridge and freezer in one go.
Absolutely everything in the farm shop is transparently labelled, and if you ever want to check the origins when you purchase, we’ll be happy to clarify with you in the farm shop, or you’re welcome to telephone the team before you place an online order.
Shop in the farm shop, Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 5pm, or online at any time.
